Mijn naam is Karen Gijsman,Ik ben in 2001 afgestudeerd aan de Fontys Hogeschool te Sittard, waar ik de opleidingsrichting Publiciteit en Fotografie volgde. Na mijn afstuderen ben ik binnen twee maanden aan het werk gegaan als kinderfotograaf. Dit heb ik tot en met einde 2008 met heel veel plezier gedaan. Al die tijd was het eigen ondernem

erschap een droom van mij die ik in begin 2009 heb verwezenlijkt. Op fotografisch gebied ligt mijn hart bij het werken met mensen. In mijn ogen is er niks mooiers dan een eerlijke lach van een kind, een trotse vader en/ of moeder, die lieve vertrouwde lach van opa of oma, of de meest stralende bruid. Een foto is iets heel persoonlijks en dat wil ik ook uit mijn foto's laten blijken. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen wensen en ideeën waar ik graag in mee denk en deel van uitmaak.
